PRIMARY RECRUITMENT
A Letter From Our VP Recruitment
Hey y’all! My name is Ella Waldman, and I am so excited to be Alpha Chi Omega’s VP of Recruitment! It has been a joy to lead our amazing recruitment team as we prepare for fall recruitment.
Hi everyone! My name is Ella Waldman, and I am excited to serve as Alpha Chi Omega’s VP of recruitment! I love recruitment and cannot wait for 2025 primary recruitment in the fall!
As a people person, I truly enjoyed my experience going through recruitment as a freshman. Meeting so many amazing women in all the chapters and finding my home was cherishable. I can still remember the sound of Alpha Chi’s VP recruitment during my freshman year, welcoming me back to the house each day and my authentic conversations with each girl in Alpha Chi. Throughout recruitment, Alpha Chi remained a constant and safe space for me; each girl I talked to made me feel seen and accepted for who I was. Every conversation was nothing short of genuine; these women radiated the kind of person I wanted to surround myself with: kind, intellectual, confident, and real.
This authenticity shown to me during recruitment is the reality in Alpha Chi Omega. There is not a single person in this chapter I would not be welcomed with open arms by and could enjoy a meal with. This chapter has given me some of my best friends, who have given me everything I have ever wanted: friendship, unconditional love, and support. Alpha Chi is full of real strong women who will change the world. The chance to represent the chapter that has been my home here is an opportunity I am gladly embracing.
I know college can be scary and full of change, but it is also a time to step out of your comfort zone. I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and consider going through recruitment, as this experience can change your life; it changed mine for the better.
Tips For Recruitment From Current Members
We want to delve into your passions and excitement! Each person has a captivating story, and during recruitment, our current members genuinely love hearing about your unique experiences.
Feel free to ask those thought-provoking questions. While it might feel a bit vulnerable, engaging in deeper conversations during recruitment can lead to incredible connections and meaningful bonds.
Above all, be genuine. I view my friends as reflections of my authentic self, and I adore how beautifully different we all are. It's perfectly okay to embrace your individuality. It's perfectly okay to be honest and true to yourself.
Wear what makes you feel your best. I've discovered that when I'm not comfortable in my outfit, I tend to feel slightly on edge and less like myself. It's crucial to wear something that makes you feel your absolute best during recruitment so that you can truly relish the experience!

Our chapter is extremely committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we work to foster an environment that upholds these values for all community members.
